Made during 20^th century in India by a British Grandmother.
These pieces have significant sentimental value for me. A friend, whose grandmother had made these two lengths of Torchon lace, left them in my care for other lacemakers to appreciate.  Her grandmother was in her 80’s when she finished the second length.  Sadly, my friend passed away a few years later, so I now feel privileged to be the custodian.
