The Virtual Museumof Private Lace Collections

Many people collect lace for various reasons, this section of the site is dedicated to those who wish to share their collection with a worldwide audience. As our culture changes and we rely more and more on computer technology for sharing information so our learning experience could also change.

The Virtual Museum is able to act as a visual archive for handmade lace, both antique and contemporary.  It may be considered a valuable learning tool for those interested in furthering their knowledge.

The Virtual Museum is open twenty-four hours a day, with no time restriction on how long one spends viewing any single item.

Museums are undergoing change, no longer just a repository, they are finding ways of engaging the virtual visitor through web-based publications.  Using online information to facilitate research and for the dissemination of knowledge.
